Formal Education Support

K–12 Education

Goodwill Foundation runs and supports schools and tutorial centres across Odisha, providing structured, curriculum-aligned education to children from disadvantaged families. Free textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, and stationery are provided to all enrolled students, removing financial barriers to attendance and participation. The programme also includes after-school coaching for children who need additional academic support.

Scholarship Programme

Higher Education

The Trust awards merit-cum-means scholarships annually to outstanding students pursuing higher education — undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses. Beneficiaries are selected through a rigorous yet transparent process based on academic merit and NEET scores, with selected students availing up to 50% discount on tuition fees. Scholarship recipients also receive mentorship, career guidance, and periodic follow-up to ensure academic success.

Digital Literacy Initiative

Technology Skills

Recognising the growing importance of digital skills, the Trust operates computer literacy programmes for students and youth in under-served areas of Odisha. The curriculum covers basic computer operations, internet usage, email communication, office productivity tools, and digital safety. Participants who complete the programme receive a certificate of completion recognised by partnering institutions.

Adult & Non-Formal Education

Adult Literacy

The Trust organises adult literacy classes and non-formal education camps to eradicate illiteracy among the older population in Odisha and surrounding areas. Special focus is placed on women and the elderly in marginalised communities, who have historically been excluded from formal education. Classes are held at community centres, temples, and local schools at convenient times for participants.

Teacher Training

Capacity Building

The Trust periodically conducts workshops and training sessions for teachers and educators working in government and community schools. Participating teachers report measurable improvements in student engagement and learning outcomes.

Girl Child Education

Gender Equity

Dedicated to eliminating gender disparity in education, this programme focuses on ensuring that girls in Odisha and have equal access to quality schooling. Activities include awareness campaigns for parents, incentive programmes for girl students, safe transportation support, and mentoring by women leaders and educators. The programme partners with local schools and government schemes to maximise reach.
